ESL: Movies in the ESL Classroom
I just ran across an ESL site with an interesting idea. Many students enjoy movies, and it is easy enough to bring movies into the classroom. The following site has a lesson plan on watching movies made for ESL students. Check it out! http://bogglesworld.com/adultesl1.htm I also like the Problems/Solutions exercise, as well as the Changes in the Past 50 Years, which are accessed off the same page.

http://ww3.free-english.com/Newsletters/ESLNewsletters.aspx
Often students ask about writing, which is difficult to teach in an ESL program that emphasizes speaking, listening and pronunciation. The above link is to a list of tips for writing despcriptive essays. Students who are studying for the TOEFL or just needing to expand their skills might find these useful.
